IAS Bank of East Asia Professor Ching W. TANG Receives the 2018 C&C Prize from the NEC C&C Foundation
Prof. Ching W. Tang was recently selected as one of the recipients of the 2018 C&C Prize by the NEC C&C Foundation in recognition of his “discovery and pioneering development of thin-film organic light-emitting devices, leading to the progress of the organic electronics industry”. The award honors Prof. Tang’s outstanding contributions to research and development activities that have had a strong impact on the field.
Established in 1985, the NEC C&C Foundation, a non-profit organization funded by the NEC Corporation, aims to foster the growth of the electronics industry by supporting research activities and pioneering work related to the integration of computers and communications technologies (C&C).
